Electroencephalography (EEG)
Recording of the brain's electrical activity via electrodes placed on the scalp.
EEG is used in the diagnosis of epilepsy, consciousness changes, sleep disorders and certain brain diseases. It is radiation-free and painless.
The examination takes about 30-45 minutes. Hair should be clean, and sleep deprivation may be requested before the test.
