MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)
Detailed imaging of body soft tissues using strong magnetic fields and radio waves.
MRI provides high-resolution imaging of the brain, spinal cord, knee, shoulder, abdominal organs, heart and vessels. It does not use X-rays so there is no radiation risk.
The examination takes 20-45 minutes. Patients with metal implants or pacemakers must notify the technician in advance.
