Pacemaker Implantation

Pacemaker implantation is performed for bradycardia, heart block and certain arrhythmias. The device is placed under the skin and connected to the heart via electrodes.

The procedure is performed in the catheter lab under local anesthesia and typically takes 1-2 hours.
